- The annual membership fees are as follows: $15 for basic membership, or $10 for contributing membership. Please come to a meeting to find out more about membership!
- Every member has one vote regardless of office or status.

All officers are nominated and elected, upon acceptance of nomination,
to a one year term beginning and ending in September.

To be elected to an office, a member must first have been a member of SLHE
for a minimum of one year.

Visitors are always welcome at support meetings.

One must be a member to receive the newsletter, be a part of the yahoo group, use the SLHE membership
card, vote, and receive a directory.

Offices are flexible depending on the interest and needs of the group.

The directory is not to be used for any commercial purposes,
or to further any political or religious cause.

In order to receive a directory, a member must also be listed in the directory.
